In 2002, Charles Colón left his sales position with Cisco Systems and decided to turn his passion for furniture making into a business. Since then, Talbot and Greene Custom Cabinet CO has a one-man shop in the basement of Charlie’s home in Rehoboth, MA. Over the years, not only has the physical size of the business changed, but also the range of services. We have grown from making blanket chests and sidelight clock towers to building and designing elaborate entertainment center built-ins, custom kitchens, impressive home offices and unique closets. Clients have the option to choose from our very own custom cabinet line, Talbot & Greene Custom.

Talbot and Greene Custom Cabinet CO evolved into a full family business when Charlie’s wife, Cheryl, (President) joined him full-time in 2019. Their twins, Emily and Keith, also work part-time in a client services capacity.

The workshop at Talbot & Greene is headed by Charlie and Ken White (Foreman) who together have over 65 years of building and design experience.  Ken and Charlie are not only experts in their field, but they’ve also been working together as a team for over a decade making our builds and installs run efficiently.  Talbot & Greene is an active member of the Rhode Island Builders Association, the National Kitchen & Bath Association and the United Regional Chamber of Commerce of Massachusetts. We stay on-trend in the kitchen and home building markets because we take continuing education seriously for our sales, design and building teams.
